CM Naidu Rolls Out Vision 2047 For AP

Visakhapatnam: Swarnandhra Vision document released by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday aims to make Andhra Pradesh the most developed State in India with the highest happiness index, jobs, health, housing and other basic requirements to all.
Chief Minister and TDP supremo N Chandrababu Naidu, who released the vision after a series of consultations with the stakeholders, here said the vision document aligning with the Vikasit Bharat launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to put AP in the driver’s seat by making maximum use of data and a tech-driven ecosystem.
“We are very keen on creating a large pool of knowledge workers to grab a plethora of opportunities available in various fields,” he said.
The vision was launched to mark coinciding with the completion of six months of formation of the government by the TDP-led National Democratic Alliance Government. The document was formulated on the promise of realising a wealthy, healthy and happy future for all.
Availability of health, education, houses, drinking water, toilets, jobs for all in the poverty-free State will ensure making an attractive investment destination. Naidu said by laying emphasis on green power, they will be the leader in introducing renewable energy. A target has been set to boost revenue from tourism from 4 per cent now to 20 per cent by initiating a series of tourist-friendly measures.
Stating that consultation is a continuing process, he said the document will also incorporate mid-course changes as and when required based on feedback on the implementation of short-term and long-term visions at various levels across the State.
The vision envisages creating world-class industrial parks with private participation in various areas, encouraging natural farming, growing high-value crops, use of e-tractors, solar power for agriculture, artificial intelligence, drone technology, robotics, satellite data along with exclusive hubs for manor, banana, papaya and other crops.
Deputy Chief Minister K Pawan Kalyan, Education and IT Minister Nara Lokesh and others were present at the time of release of the vision document, which was finalised after consulting 17 lakh people from various segments. It aims to increase the per capita income from $3,000 at present to $42,000 by 2047. NITI Aayog and experts from other organisations were also consulted before finalisation. Branding Swarnandhra with utmost importance to emerge as leader in deeptech and innovation has been made a thrust area in the vision.
Naidu, while interacting with the students on their expectations, said the vision is based on 10 principles such as poverty removal, employment creation, skill development, HRD development, water security, use of technologies and cost management of fuels, world-class distribution and delivery system, total transparency and e-governance on real-time basis and taking up of special drive to achieve ‘Clean Andhra’ tag.
